ACCESIBILITY
We want to make it easier for our guests to access the festival programme, provide information on the accessibility of buildings for people with mobility impairments and thus make a contribution to an inclusive society.
Most of our festival venues have been checked for accessibility and recorded on the ginto-app.
wheelchair spaces
Almost all venues have a limited number of wheelchair spaces. To guarantee a place, early booking is very helpful. This is best done directly through Bider & Tanner, even if it is a concert with a solidarity contribution.
Wheelchair spaces for the numbered ticket concerts in the St. Jakobshalle (Eröffnungsspektakel), in the Stadtcasino Basel (Regenbogentanz & Schlusskonzert) and on the choir ship (Gala-Dinner) can only be booked at ticket@ticketcorner.ch or by calling +41 61 206 99 96.
Admission prices
In order to make as many performances and offers as possible accessible to all visitors, we have set up our price system as follows:
- For the ‘Eröffnungsspektakel’ in the St. Jakobshalle, the admission price can be freely selected from three price levels, regardless of where you are seated.
- The evening concerts have regular ticket prices.
- The following reductions apply: AHV, student ID, Colour-Key
- At the lunch concerts on Fridays and Saturdays, a solidarity contribution to finance the event is expected. This can be paid on site in cash (as with a collection) or by Twint. The recommended amount is CHF 20 per adult. Seat tickets of CHF 30 are available for all events with a solidarity contribution. They can only be purchased online in advance up to 24 hours before the concert. With a seat ticket, you are guaranteed a seat at the concert even if there is a large crowd. You will be seated in a medium location in a sector specially cordoned off for ticket holders. The reservation expires at the start of the concert.
- At ‘Singe uf dr Stross’ on Saturday afternoon, admission is free for everyone.
