THE POWER OF MUSIC / Münsterplatz

PUBLIC REHEARSAL
STADTCASINO, MUSIKSAAL, 16.30 – 17.00

Raphael Immoos sings ‘Z’Basel a mym Rhy’ and the ‘Baselbieterlied’ with the audience in preparation for ‘Europe en Miniature’.

EUROPE EN MINIATURE
MÜNSTERPLATZ, 17.15 – 18.00

All 19 festival choirs sing simultaneously on six stages. The audience wanders through the soundscapes as if through a small Europe. The pieces fit together seamlessly, are echoed in the jointly sung ‘Baselbieterlied’ and ‘Z’Basel a mym Rhy’ and end in the grand finale, fuelled by the national youth choir ‘Mboa’ from Cameroon.

Please enjoy the choral performances without applause and only clap before the grand finale with the youth choir from Cameroon.
